where time dwells

Último proyecto desarrollado. Creando un fotolibro con las fotografías y textos.
Durante doce años fotografié la vida cotidiana de mi abuela en la granja que construyó en Pennsylvania. Sus diarios, poemas y fotografías se reúnen ahora en un mismo libro, poniendo en diálogo dos formas de registrar una vida: la escritura y la imagen, dos generaciones y dos tiempos que convergen en un mismo lugar. Entre lo familiar y lo extraño, el proyecto observa cómo el tiempo transforma nuestra relación con aquello que conocemos.

For twelve years, I photographed my grandmother’s daily life on the farm she built in Pennsylvania. Her diaries, poems, and photographs are now brought together in a single book, creating a dialogue between two ways of recording a life—writing and imagery—and between two generations and two eras converging in one place. Hovering between the familiar and the strange, the project observes how time transforms our relationship with what we know.
